1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using the ParentingTRICK application ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use the Service. The Service is operated by ParentingTRICK, with all proceeds supporting Global Moonshots in Education.
2. Description of Service
ParentingTRICK is an AI-powered parenting application that provides personalized guidance based on Esther Wojcicki's TRICK method (Trust, Respect, Independence, Collaboration, Kindness). The Service includes AI-generated coaching, learning paths, daily check-ins, crisis support, and community features. The Service is not a substitute for professional medical, psychological, or therapeutic advice.
3. User Accounts
You must create an account to use certain features of the Service. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to keep your account information updated. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You must be at least 18 years of age to create an account.
4. Subscription & Payments
The Service offers Free, TRICK+, and TRICK Pro subscription tiers. Paid subscriptions are billed monthly or annually as selected at the time of purchase. All new paid subscribers receive a 7-day free trial. You may cancel your subscription at any time; access continues until the end of the current billing period. Refunds are handled in accordance with applicable app store policies (for mobile) or Stripe policies (for web).
5. User Content & Data
You retain ownership of content you submit through the Service, including check-in data, journal entries, and chat messages. By using the Service, you grant ParentingTRICK a limited license to process your content solely for the purpose of providing and improving the Service. We will never sell your personal data. 6. AI-Generated Content Disclaimer
The AI-powered features of ParentingTRICK, including Ask Esther and the Esther Companion, generate responses based on Esther Wojcicki's published works, speeches, and methodology. While we strive for accuracy and helpfulness, AI-generated content is not a substitute for professional advice. In cases of emergency, abuse, or serious mental health concerns, please contact appropriate professional services immediately.
7. Intellectual Property
All content, features, and functionality of the Service — including text, graphics, logos, icons, images, audio, and software — are the property of ParentingTRICK or its licensors and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. The TRICK method, "ParentingTRICK" name, and associated branding are proprietary.
8. Prohibited Conduct
You agree not to: (a) use the Service for any unlawful purpose; (b) attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Service; (c) share your account credentials with others; (d) scrape, harvest, or collect data from the Service without authorization; (e) upload harmful, offensive, or inappropriate content; (f) interfere with or disrupt the Service's infrastructure.
9. Limitation of Liability
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, PARENTINGTRICK SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR THE SERVICE IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.
10. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes by posting an updated version on the Service and updating the "Last Updated" date. Your continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.
